The visitor center is the base of Tsugaike Nature Park, where skunk cabbage grows in clusters. The interior of the visitor center is a gentle and warm space, with abundant use of old wood. The facility displays materials about the park's flora and fauna and its unique topography, and visitors can also experience activities such as bouldering and slacklining. Learning about the formation of Tsugaike Nature Park, which has been shaped over eons, may give you a different perspective on your subsequent stroll through the park.

This ox-driver's inn dates back to the early 19th century, measuring six bays wide and ten bays deep. For a private house of that era, its structural integrity, including the thickness and number of pillars, is exceptionally high. It was designated a tangible cultural property of Otani Village in 1997 and subsequently purchased by the village. The main building was restored based on the "Chikuni Matabei House Plan" from 1864 and opened as a historical museum in the spring of 2004. It was designated a prefectural treasure in April 2009.

It opened as a passenger station in November 1935 with the extension of the Oito Line. Located at the boundary between the electrified section under the jurisdiction of JR East and the non-electrified section under the jurisdiction of JR West, it is the only station on a conventional railway line that marks the boundary between different operating jurisdictions. In addition, Platform 1: Used for the arrival and departure of special trains. This line is separate from JR West. Platform 2: Under the jurisdiction of JR East, used for trains arriving at and departing for Shinano-Ōmachi Station. Platform 3: Under the jurisdiction of JR West, used for trains arriving at and departing for Itoigawa Station.

"Michi-no-Eki Otari" is located in the Kita-Otari district of Otari Village, close to the border with Niigata Prefecture. Facing National Route 148, the roadside station uses old wood from a former farmhouse, creating a charming space that expresses the strength and gentleness of snow-covered Otari Village. It also has restaurants such as "Miyama no Yu," a hot spring with free-flowing natural spring water, and "Oni no Kuriya," where you can enjoy "Kamado-cooked rice" that has been featured on TV programs. It is more than just a roadside station; it is a facility that caters to a variety of needs.

Kasa-no-Yu is the only day-trip hot spring facility operating within the Himekawa Onsenkyo hot spring area, known as a hidden hot spring of Lord Takeda Shingen. It's bustling with locals on weekdays and with tourists and hikers on weekends. Furthermore, it boasts excellent amenities, including the freedom to bring in your own food and drinks and free massage chairs. The free-flowing, carbonated spring water is abundant and slightly hot, providing deep relaxation to soothe travel fatigue. From the hot spring, you can watch the single-car trains of the Oito Line, making it a recommended spot for railway enthusiasts. Also, the ramen at the adjoining restaurant is absolutely delicious and often sells out. Why not give it a try?

Michi-no-Eki Oze Katashina is a roadside station located along National Route 120 in Katashina Village, Tone District, Gunma Prefecture. Situated at the gateway to Oze, it serves as a tourist information center and rest stop. As it is located at the foot of Oze National Park, beautiful mountains and nature spread out around it. The footbath, which offers a panoramic view of the magnificent Ayame-daira from the observation terrace, is a popular attraction. At the agricultural product direct sales store "Katashinaya," fresh highland vegetables, fruits, and local specialties such as kidney beans are sold, and at the restaurant "Katashina Shokudo," you can enjoy dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

Hanasaki no Yu is a day-trip hot spring surrounded by nature. You can enjoy panoramic views of the changing seasons, from fresh greenery and autumn leaves to snow-covered landscapes. Our pride and joy are our open-air baths: "Kaori no Yu," where you can enjoy seasonal flowers, and "Kaze no Yu," a garden-style bath made with beautiful natural rocks. (Men and women alternate daily) Furthermore, the bedrock bath, which uses the rare "Kiyo stone" found only in Katashina Village, is very popular! There are plenty of restaurants serving fresh, locally sourced ingredients, as well as souvenir shops.

"Oze Purari-kan" is located in Tokura, Gunma Prefecture, at the entrance to Oze, and is adjacent to the bus stop and parking lot for Hatōmachi Pass and Fujimishita, which lead to Oze. Inside the building are the "Oze Nature Center" and the day-trip hot spring "Tokura no Yu". At the "Oze Nature Center", you can learn about precautions to take when entering the mountains, the history, nature, environment and conservation activities of Oze, and see seasonal information about Oze and exhibits of the flora and fauna that live in Oze.

Located on the shores of Lake Marunuma, surrounded by beautiful nature, Marunuma Onsen Kankoso is a secluded inn that opened in 1933. Situated at an altitude of 1,430m, it is a resort where you can enjoy the vibrant autumn foliage, with temperatures rarely exceeding 25°C even in the height of summer when the area is enveloped in fresh greenery, and the scenery becoming fiery red in the fall.

This fishing pond is enjoyable for everyone, from children to adults. Catch your fish and have them grilled on the spot! In addition to bait fishing, there are areas for lure and fly fishing, as well as a barbecue corner, allowing you to fully enjoy yourself amidst nature. There's also a restaurant, "Bokusui."
