01 Bunkayu

The high ceiling and large bathtub create an open feeling, allowing you to relax in the bath. The hot water is sourced from high-quality well water, and the jets are powerful.

02 Hidenoyu

The sauna, open-air bath with carbonated spring water, and herbal bath are popular, as are the powerful jets. We offer different medicinal baths every day. Please relax in the spacious lobby.

03 Tenguyu

The hot bath (about 43 degrees) is a deep bathtub. The bubble bath (about 41 degrees). The milk bath (about 39 degrees). The cold bath is free-flowing underground water. There is also a natural stone half-body bath corner and a double standing shower.

04 Igusuyu

It features a silky bath, a highly concentrated carbonated spring (open-air), a comfort sauna, a bathtub for children, etc. There is a rest room and a kids' room on the second floor.

05 Daini Takarayu

A well water bath, an electric bath, a 3 horsepower jet bath, and a bubble bath await you.

06 GOKURAKUYA

This small public bath is located near Shimen-dori, where Kanpachi and Ome-kaido intersect. It uses 100% natural water from 100 meters underground, which is rich in minerals and gentle on the skin. The "Silk Bath" water, which is also used in famous spas, is silky smooth with ultra-micro bubbles.

07 Asagaya Onsen Tentoku Spring

It was certified as a natural hot spring in February 2023. The steam sauna and cold bath, which are filled with the scent of herbs, are also popular.

08 Tama no Yu

This is an old-fashioned public bathhouse with painted pictures and boiled well water. There is also a cold water bath.

09 Yuya Wagokoro Yoshinoyu

The spacious open-air area features a highly concentrated carbonated spring, a tub bath (water and earth hot spring), a comfort sauna, and a cold bath. The powerful jet bath and electric bath in the indoor bath are also popular.

10 Wave bath

It's packed with fun. Enjoy the morning bath (every Sunday from 8:00 to 12:00, original blend coffee served free) and the heated pool. The hot water is made from high-quality well water, and there are also painted pictures.

11 Kosugiyu

Founded in 1933, this stately building has a gabled roof. All of the baths are made with natural water. Popular items include the famous milk bath, the popular daily baths, four baths with different temperatures, and hot and cold baths.

12 Bentenyu

The lobby is currently exhibiting illustrations by illustrators and works by public bath calligraphers. Every Thursday, bath additives "Onsengen" are used, and every Sunday, various medicinal baths are offered.

13 Suginamiyu

Because it uses natural underground water, the water is gentle on the skin and doesn't cool down easily. The locals say that the water here is different! It warms you to the core, leaves your skin smooth and gives you the feeling of being in a hot spring.

14 Kotoyu

Relax in the large bathtub. 7 minutes from Koenji Station.

15 Sakurayu

We offer herbal baths on Wednesdays, which change weekly. The baths are large, clean, and full of negative ions, and feature painted pictures.

16 Daikokuyu

This public bath is friendly to the elderly, with barrier-free access, plenty of handrails, and plenty of chairs in the changing room.

17 Yunoraku Daitabashi Onsen

The two baths are switched daily for men and women, allowing guests to enjoy different facilities. "Kagura no Yu" has a different medicinal bath each day and a salt sauna, while "Izumi no Yu" has an open-air bath and a high-temperature sauna.

18 Takarayu Natural Hot Spring

The spacious baths are equipped with a high-concentration carbonated spring, an open-air silky bath with bubbles that cleanse deep into the pores, a jetted seat bath, and a cold bath (radon spring). Each bathroom is also equipped with a high-temperature auto-loyly sauna and a comfort sauna.

19 Joetsu Springs

It is always clean and popular. Medicinal baths are available on Sundays and public holidays.

20 Showayu

We use firewood to heat high-quality well water. We are proud of our hot water. Our chilled water bath is also popular. The jets are powerful. Dynamic tile murals add color to the bathroom. This is a traditional public bath that puts effort into cleaning and is confident in its cleanliness. Public bath enthusiasts are welcome, and we can temporarily store your luggage.

21 Ichinoyu

Renovated in the spring of 2010! All baths use soft water. There is a mist sauna. The open-air rock bath is only available in the men's bath. Soft and hard water can be taken home. There is a free recycling corner only in the women's bath. There is a smoking room only in the men's bath.

22 Egotayu

Reopening on Sunday, September 5, 2021! Based on the concept of a "geo public bath," the bath has been completely renovated to make the most of its underground location and create an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're inside the earth! The moment you step into the bathroom, you can feel the water pulsating and relax. In addition to the spacious carbonated spring, the bath is also equipped with a jet bath, a sitting bath, an electric bath, and a sauna. The water is all soft water that is gentle on the skin. The cold bath is lit up in blue for an even cooler feeling! Medicinal baths are available on Thursdays and Sundays. Relax in this "oasis public bath where you can feel the earth." It was designed by architect Kentaro Imai.

23 Shinkoshizumi

This is an underground bath. Please take your time in the bath. There is also a spacious salon. We offer different medicinal baths every day. The bath is made with soft water that is gentle on the skin.

24 Nakano Kotobukiyu Hot Springs

This is a traditional public bathhouse with a high ceiling. As the name suggests, it is a natural hot spring. Height and body fat meters are available. Towel sets of various sizes are available for rental (100 yen). The lobby is spacious and relaxing.

25 health bath spring

Reopening on Monday, December 28th, 2020! A "healthy and beautiful skin bath" has opened in Higashi-Nakano!! After a complete renovation, a spacious new high-concentration carbonated spring, silky bath, jet bath, electric bath, and cold bath have been installed. All of the water is soft. The men's bath offers a high-temperature dry sauna, while the women's bath offers a comfort sauna with high humidity that is gentle on the skin. Relax and unwind in the health bath, which has been reborn with a simple and calming atmosphere. It is a 5-minute walk from both Higashi-Nakano Station on the Sobu Line and Ochiai Station on the Tozai Line.

26 Matsumotoyu

It will be completely renovated and reopened on August 1, 2021! In addition to the jet bath and sitting bath, it will also have a medicinal bath, a Bad Gastein mineral bath, an electric bath, and a "Jebina Bath" that massages the whole body from four directions. The shower heads are made by ReFa, which is popular for its ultra-fine bubbles and microbubbles. The men's sauna has been significantly enlarged to accommodate 20 people. The women's sauna offers two types: dry and steam. Both the men's and women's cold baths have two different temperatures: 16°C and 28°C, with the 16°C water depth reaching an impressive 150cm for the men's bath and 135cm for the women's. A new sauna mecca has been born in Higashi-Nakano!

27 Aqua Higashinakano

Completely renovated in November 2010. All baths are soft water, with a high concentration of artificial carbonated spring water and a powerful jet bath. The sauna is large enough to fit around 13 people. A different medicinal bath is offered daily. There is a mini pool in both the men's and women's baths, and the women's bath has a milk bath and the men's bath has a 50-inch TV. There is a wide variety of bath facilities. Bathhouse enthusiasts are welcome (luggage storage available).

28 Nakano Onsen Tenjinyu

From March 21, 2025, it will operate as Nakano Onsen Tenjinyu. It will reopen on December 8, 2023. While retaining the atmosphere of a Showa-era public bathhouse, with its palace-style architecture, painted pictures of Mt. Fuji, mosaic tiles of tropical fish, and a garden with swimming carp, the bathhouse now features a new, spacious cold bath, a medium-temperature bath (40°C) with electricity and a jacuzzi, and a high-temperature bath (43.5°C). The high ceilings allow for a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy the retro-modern atmosphere. Designed by architect Kentaro Imai. *There is no sauna.

29 Magic Hot Spring Showa Bathhouse

Hugely popular on TV! This public bath lets you see the magic show of Tajimagic, the world's best magician, for just the bathing fee. Open until 3am on Fridays. Medicinal baths are available on weekends. The sauna is a bargain at just 100 yen, and you'll receive a free ticket for your next visit.

30 Takasagoyu

Feel the breeze on your cheeks and stretch out your arms and legs in this open-air bath for a truly blissful experience! Cleanliness is our number one priority, and we put effort into cleaning every day right after closing time. This is one of the most authentic open-air baths in Tokyo. The hot water is made with plenty of groundwater pumped up from over 100m underground. The bathroom has large glass windows and a high ceiling that gives it an open feel. This allows you to truly relax. There is a free bicycle parking area, and washing machines are installed in both the men's and women's changing rooms.

31 Terunoyu

There is a jet bath.

32 Club Bath

Located close to the station, this traditional public bathhouse is known for its cleanliness, medicinal baths, and powerful jet baths.

33 Seiharuyu

Renovated in September 2013. The super-powerful jets will soothe your fatigue. The open-air bath in the men's bath and the soft water bath in the women's bath are lukewarm. The high-backed chairs reduce strain on the knees. All showers have hoses. The sauna in the men's bath is dry and the sauna in the women's bath is steam, and the cold water bath is super cold.

34 Tsuki no Yu

They boast hot water with powerful jets. The dry sauna is low temperature. Morning baths are available only on the 2nd of January from 8:00 to 13:00. This is a traditional public bathhouse that is committed to cleanliness and proper greetings.

35 Sakaeyu

Reopened on November 1, 2017. Relax in the baths bathed in light. The water is soft and gentle on the skin. The two baths change weekly, with men and women switching on Saturdays. Enjoy the "Shaka Sauna" and "Confucius Bath" (semi-open-air bath).

36 Fukunoyu

This Taisho-era Roman-style public bath is located a one-minute walk from Seibo Hospital Entrance, the third bus stop from Mejiro Station. We also boast brick-style tiles. We have high-quality well water boiled for you.

37 Yuza Nakai

Relax in three types of jet baths and an open-air bath with medicinal baths that change daily for men and women!

38 Sannowayu

It's always clean, and the mist bath is popular. Herbal baths are available on Sundays. This public bath has a wide variety of bathtub equipment, and the large TV and background music help to create a relaxing atmosphere.

39 Matsu no Yu

It will reopen on November 26, 2023. Based on the concept of "nothingness," it has been completely renovated to create a chic atmosphere that will allow you to forget about your daily life and relax! There are four baths in total: hot water (with powerful jets) in the open-air bath, a deep medium-temperature bath, a shallow bath, and a cold bath in the bathroom. In the bathroom, you can relax while listening to the sound of the "Matsu no Yu Waterfall," a specialty that has been there since before the renovation. There is also a family booth where parents and children can take their time washing their bodies. In the open-air area of the men's bath, you can enjoy an open-air bath while enjoying the painted pictures created by the previous owner. Relax in the new Matsu no Yu, which deliberately does not have a sauna and focuses on the water. It was designed by architect Kentaro Imai.

40 World Hot Springs

The men's bath features a mosaic mural of Iguazu Falls, while the women's bath features a mosaic mural of the Matterhorn. The spacious lobby has an 80-inch TV for you to relax on.

41 Kinsenyu

The garden is beautiful, with a pond containing five carp fish and a waterfall. Medicinal baths are offered on a weekly basis.

42 Mannenyu

We reopened on August 21, 2016. We aim to be a public bathhouse loved by everyone as a hidden hot spring in the city. We provide free body soap, rinse-in shampoo, and face towels for rent, so you can come empty-handed.

43 Tohoyu

There are various bath additives, including Chinese herbal medicine, which warm you up nicely. We put a lot of effort into cleaning and are confident in our cleanliness.

44 Bentenyu

The baths are alternated between men and women, and the sauna and mist sauna can be enjoyed on alternate days. It's located close to Akebonobashi Station and Shinjuku-Gyoen Station. The lobby is spacious, and staff greet you with a polite greeting. This is a traditional public bathhouse that puts effort into cleaning and prides itself on its cleanliness. Bathhouse enthusiasts are welcome (luggage storage available).

45 Daihoshiyu

"💟AED Street Corner Emergency Station." The owner undergoes repeated training, so you can rest assured. We have installed the latest model AED (unit 5). We have a certificate of excellence from the Tokyo Fire Department's first aid course. Bonsai trees, which are displayed weekly, create a soothing atmosphere. We use boiled well water.

46 Yanagiyu

井戸水で沸かしています。水風呂も井戸水を使用しています。ハイパワージェットが人気。座風呂（電気風呂）、バイブラ、寝風呂、備え付けのボディソープ・リンスインシャンプーあります。脱衣場ロッカーは100円のコインリターン式です。現金のみのお取り扱いとなります。地下鉄の駅、バス停からすぐ近くにあります。都営大江戸線牛込柳町駅南東口の裏です。皆様のご入浴お待ちしております。

47 Takenoyu

The daily medicinal bath is popular. It is a 4-minute walk from Kagurazaka. The dry sauna is only available in the men's bath, while the mist sauna is available in both men's and women's. The electric bath is only available in the men's bath.

48 Third Tama no Yu

It reopened on November 21, 2018. High-concentration carbonated spring water and an open-air bath have been newly installed. Located a 5-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station on the Tozai Line and a 10-minute walk from Iidabashi Station on the JR lines, along Okubo-dori Street. The powerful jets and chilled water baths are popular. Sento enthusiasts are welcome (luggage storage available). Last entry is at 25:00.

49 Atamiyu

Located in the backstreets of Kagurazaka, this traditional palace-style public bath is a familiar sight as a filming location. It features painted artwork. It boasts hot water heated with firewood. Sento enthusiasts are welcome (luggage can be stored temporarily). This traditional public bath exudes a Showa-era atmosphere.

50 Hagoromoyu

Hagoromo-yu is beautiful, spacious, and unique. The men's and women's baths alternate on odd and even days, making it twice as fun. Refresh your mind and body with several types of jet baths, high-temperature saunas, salt saunas, and more. There are about 2,000 manga books available for you to read after your bath. There are also snacks and instant noodles available. There is parking for six cars.

51 Second Kanekiyu

Located near Opera City, this bathhouse is always clean and the electric bath is also popular.

52 Kannonyu

Exit the north exit of Hatagaya Station on the Keio Line and you'll be on Koshu Kaido. Walk about 30 meters towards Shinjuku and turn at the first corner! If you go straight, you'll see a sign that says "Yu" (hot spring).

53 Shibuya Sasazuka Onsen Sakaeyu

Reopened on July 31, 2014. The water is natural hot spring water. The jets are powerful. A different medicinal bath is offered daily. Public bath enthusiasts are welcome (luggage storage available).

54 Sengokuyu

We strive to provide quality services such as herbal baths and massage baths, and above all, we are a clean, comfortable, and cozy bathhouse. We also have a wet sauna.

55 Daikokuyu (Yoyogi-Uehara)

The natural underground water will warm you up nicely. The cold water bath is also popular. Please relax while listening to background music.

56 Yawatayu

It's close to Yoyogi Park and the station, so come and wash off the sweat after playing. There are also painted pictures. The sauna is only available in the women's bath.

57 Sakaeyu

This relaxing spot near the station is equipped with shampoo and body soap, so you can come empty-handed. We are proud of our hot water boiled with firewood.

58 Improved hot water

It reopened after renovations on December 21, 2018 (designed by Imai Kentaro). The chic bathroom is enhanced by background paintings by contemporary artists. There are three baths: a large carbonated spring, a medium-temperature bath, and a cold bath. The water is soft and gentle on the skin. There is also an infrared sauna. The shop's landmark is a giant whale painting on the exterior wall.

59 Hirooyu

With over 80 years of experience in Hiroo, why not take a relaxing break in our spacious baths near the station? We use high-quality well water, heated to a moderate temperature. The jets are also powerful. This is a traditional public bathhouse that places emphasis on greetings and cleanliness. *We reopened on July 14, 2017.

60 Horaiyu

This is a rare underground public bathhouse. The interior has a warm wooden feel. *Sauna is only available on Sundays.
