01 Kanie Town Tourism Exchange Center Matsuribito

400年以上前から続く地域の祭り「須成祭」が2016年ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録されたことをきっかけにつくられた施設。2階の展示スペースには須成祭のVRや提灯が飾られています。【登場作品】死体蝋燭：0分2秒 ※スタンプ取得可能日は8月1日～11月30日です。

02 Miyoshi Bridge

[Featured in: Corpse Candle, Retinal Development] This is an unusual winding bridge that is only raised when the straw-covered boats and decorated floats of the Sunari Festival pass through. It is a unique bridge painted in vermilion, and the triangular truss-shaped pillars are the mechanism for raising the bridge.

03 Yamada Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.

[Featured in: Retinal Development] Along the Kanie River, there are many beautiful, old-fashioned alleys that are a joy to wander through.

04 Zenkei-ji Temple

[Featured in: Corpse Candle] Kokakuzan Zenkeiji Temple. It is a temple of the Shinshu Otani sect (Higashi Honganji), and within its grounds is the "Kanda Family Genealogy Monument," inscribed by Shibusawa Eiichi and erected by Kanda Ryōzō, the founder of Kanda Bank.

05 Zeniarai Owari Benzaiten Tomiyoshi Shrine

[Featured in: Corpse Candle] It is said that when the Hojo clan built Kanie Castle during the Muromachi period, they invited the deity Tomiyoshi Ryudaijin from Zeniarai Benten in Kamakura to be enshrined here. In 1964, it was moved to its current location. It is believed to have immense power for business prosperity, and good fortune can be obtained by using money that has been washed and purified here.

[Featured in: Corpse Candle] This is a large bridge for pedestrians and cyclists spanning the Nikko River.

07 Gakuto Yasuragi Park

[Featured in: Retinal Development] This park features a monumental clock tower modeled after the river that flows through Kanie Town, a long slide, and colorful athletic playground equipment.

08 Saya River Nishinomori fishing spot

[Recommended spots in Kanie Town] This is a traditional fishing pond. You can enjoy fishing at your leisure while watching trains go by on the railway bridge.

[Recommended spots in Kanie Town] This is the only hot spring in the prefecture with a high temperature (50 degrees Celsius) and free-flowing natural spring water. You can enjoy the baths along with local cuisine (such as Inaman, mullet rice porridge, etc.), kaiseki meals, accommodation, and lunch. All services are by appointment only.

To the east of the library stands a monument marking the birthplace of Kosakai Fuboku, inscribed by Kurokawa Kisho, a junior of Fuboku's from elementary school. (His actual birthplace is a little over 1 km south of the library.) You can read works written by Fubuki at the library. However, please note that they are for in-library use only.
